The RAINBOW RIDGE Collection

From its humble beginnings back on July 2, 1956 as the little town that guests departed from on the Rainbow Cavern Mine Train, to its time as part of the Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland ride, and up to its current location at the base of Big Thunder Mountain - where it's been since 1979 - Rainbow Ridge has always been one of our favorite sets at Disneyland. 

Local lore says that the town of Rainbow Ridge was established way back in 1869. Listen close and you can still hear them tearing it up in the Big Thunder Saloon, a respectable place where they have "good, clean fun every night but Sunday." So I guess we'll see you there on Sunday!
